Repair it, do not replace it

A tool that can be repaired is a different purchase from one that cannot. This is what is available after the sale.

Spare parts

Every tool has a spare parts list tied to its article number. Ratchet mechanisms, drawer locks, castors, cylinder locks, screwdriver blades and torque wrench components are available as individual parts.

Order spare parts through your dealer or the shop. Always quote the article number stamped on the tool.

Repair

  • Ratchet mechanism replacement rather than a new ratchet
  • Trolley repairs: castors, locks, drawer runners, worktops
  • Torque wrench service and adjustment
  • Assessment first, so you know the cost before work starts

Torque wrench recalibration

Torque tools drift with use. Where a workshop follows a documented process, recalibration is usually scheduled once a year or after a defined number of operations, and it produces a fresh certificate against the serial number of your tool.

Store a mechanical torque wrench at the lowest value on its scale. It is the single habit that most extends its calibrated life.

Warranty

Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover wear from normal use, tools used outside their rated range, or a socket used on an impact driver when it was not built for impact.

Keep the invoice and the article number. For torque tools, keep the calibration certificate as well.

Opening a case

Write to us with the article number, a short description, and a photo of the tool and of the failure. Buying through a dealer means the dealer usually handles the case for you, which is faster.
